Our visitor protocols have been revised effective November 24,, 2021
VISITORS – Delay your visit if you have:
- Traveled from a high-risk area for COVID-19
- Contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19
- Cough, fever or difficulty breathing
Visitation Hours:
9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- All inpatients may have two (2), healthy adult visitors in the patient room during the posted visiting hours.
- Emergency department patients are allowed to have one (1) visitor in the room with them throughout their visit.
- Patients in labor & delivery may have one (1) healthy support person with them at all times and one additional visitor may be in the room during the above hours.
- Pediatric and neonatal ICU patients may be attended by the primary caregiver and one (1) additional healthy adult caregiver.
- Compassionate-care exceptions that extend visiting past the posted hours may be made on a case by case basis at the discretion of the chief nursing officer or administrator on call.
- Exceptions will be granted for extenuating circumstances, such as end-of-life care.
COVID-19 Inpatients
- Patients with COVID-19 are allowed two (2) healthy, adult visitors
- Visitors will wear appropriate PPE while visiting patients who are positive for COVID-19
- Visitors in COVID-19 patient rooms should be aware that they are putting their own health at risk and will assume all liability for that decision
Self-screening stations are posted at the hospitals’ entry points, and everyone entering MUST stop at these stations to take their temperature before proceeding. All visitors are expected to adhere to the following safety measures:
- Well-fitting masks covering the mouth and nose MUST be worn at all times by all individuals within the building
- Visitors will self-attest for COVID-19 symptoms at the public entrance
- Visitors who have COVID-19 or exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 will refrain from entering the facility unless they are seeking emergency medical treatment
Staying Connected
We recognize staying in touch with patients is important, and we can gladly coordinate virtual visits when possible. We also encourage you to call, FaceTime, Whatsapp or other social chat applications to connect with your loved ones via their personal devices.
